Free quit smoking help in Australia

You don't have to pay anyone to quit. These are the real Australian services — phone lines, government programs and health charities — you can use today, for free. QuitCoach sits alongside them, it doesn't replace them.

Your GP and pharmacist

A GP appointment is the fastest way to get medical quitting support. Ask about nicotine replacement therapy, prescription options, and whether a GP Management Plan applies to you. Some quit medicines are subsidised through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), which lowers the price a lot. Pharmacists can advise on patches, gum, lozenges, mouth spray and inhalators without an appointment.

If you're not coping

Low mood, irritability and anxiety are common in the first few weeks. If it becomes more than that, these lines are free and open around the clock.

Where QuitCoach fits

QuitCoach is an Australian digital program — daily check-ins, craving tools and an AI coach in your pocket between appointments. It is not medical advice and there are no human counsellors on our side. Most people do best combining a free service above with something that keeps them going day to day.
