1. Who we are

This service is operated by Dharmamurti Pty Ltd (ABN 17 689 319 622), trading as Quit Coach by ClearPath ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for personal information collected through this app and website. Contact: dharmamurtipty@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: email, password (hashed), name if provided.
• Quit program data: quit date, smoking history, triggers, cravings logged, milestones — information you voluntarily enter.
• Coaching interactions: messages exchanged with the AI coach and community.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, timestamps.
• Support correspondence: emails and messages you send us.

We do not knowingly collect health information beyond what you self-report for the purpose of supporting your quit journey.

3. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account (contract performance).
• To deliver personalised coaching, content and reminders (contract performance).
• To process payments and subscriptions via Paddle (contract performance, legal obligation).
• To improve the service, prevent fraud and ensure security (legitimate interests).
• To send transactional emails; marketing only with your consent.
• To comply with Australian law (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

• Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles invoicing and tax compliance, and may contact you about your purchase.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — for application hosting, database, and authentication.
• AI service providers — to power coaching chat features. Conversations may be processed by third-party large language model providers.
• Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers, where required.
• Authorities — where required by Australian law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Some providers store data outside Australia (including in the United States and EU). When this occurs we rely on the provider's standard data protection commitments and take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your account and program data while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it (e.g. tax records held for 7 years under Australian law).

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you may:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Complain to us, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if unsatisfied.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted databases, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Payment-related cookies are set by Paddle during checkout.

10. Children

This service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
